In 2014, the Winter Olympic Games were held in Sochi. The Olympic flame, which overcame thousands of kilometers, visited both Elbrus and Lake Baikal, appeared at the main stadium. What excitement we all experienced while watching it light up in the bowl - this symbol of games. At the opening ceremony of the games, the guests of honor were the heads of various countries, governments and international organizations. The Sochi Olympics has become not only a holiday of sports, but also an important political event. More than seven sports were held at this Olympics. In my opinion, the most impressive was figure skating. There was also biathlon, ice skating, curling, sledding, hockey, skiing. I believe that all stages of the Olympics were organized at the highest level. At the closing ceremony, I especially remember the giant bear, who cried goodbye to everyone. The games are over. I think that they will remain in the memory of the whole world as the most spectacular, honest, beautiful. They will serve as an incentive for the development of winter sports and their promotion, and the achievements of athletes will inspire many people.
